The famous Green Mountains surround us. Killington Mtn. Resort and Pico Ski lifts are just minutes from our front door. With seven mountains, over 200 ski and snow board trails, and a ski season that runs from mid November to mid April, Killington offer the greatest diversity of skiing and 'boarding in the east.
The Pico ski lift is just down the road and close by you'll find many of Vermont's finest cross country skiing centers.
Surrounding The Summit Lodge & Resort is some of the east's most exciting apres skiing and nightlife. Within minutes you'll find a variety of nightclubs, restaurants, taverns and live music.
With Killington's ski season often extending well into the spring months, it isn't unusual for guests to enjoy a morning of delicious skiing in shorts and an afternoon on one of our four tennis courts.
Killington is famous for spring skiing! Warm temperatures and soft, easy-turning snow make both skiing in shorts and midday picnics along the side of the trails a common sight.
Spring is also the time when golfers begin to enjoy the Killington Golf Course, Green Mountain National Golf Course, or five other championship golf courses all within a half-hour drive of The Summit.
The summer season is often as lively as our winter. Great tennis, outstanding golf courses, hiking, fishing, and dozens of fun-filled summer events make for a spectacular vacation.
Autumn brings color to the surrounding Green Mountain of Central Vermont. Fall in Vermont is a season of spectacular changes in nature. Our mountain views offer an outstanding way to enjoy the fall foliage splendor.
Crisp autumn days are perfect for exploring everything from scenic back roads to unique antique shops. It's great time to hike and dozens of trails for all levels of ability are nearby.
