Are you looking for fun activities in the area to do during your stay this summer?
Well, look no further! Below, I’ll be listing and attaching links to a plethora of options so you can click on whatever sounds interesting! (Please note this is not an exhaustive list of what’s available, only some good suggestions!)
First of all, the Summit Lodge offers our very own outdoor saltwater pool, indoor saltwater hot tub, and O’Dwyer’s Poolside Bar for all your relaxing needs right here!
Other activities include;
Hiking: There are numerous trails all around Killington for all skill levels, such as Deer Leap Overlook Trail, Bucklin Trail, Leffert’s Pond Trail, Thundering Brook Falls, and even part of the Appalachian Trail!
Mountain Biking: Killington’s bike park offers 30 miles of trails to choose from of their roughly 29 available trails! These include trails for all skill levels as well.
Killington Adventure Center: The Snowshed Adventure Center has exciting activities such as the Beast Mountain Coaster, a sky rope course, zip lines, more hiking trails, and even a maze! They also have a food court that is open daily.
Kayaking: Snowshed also offers kayak rentals on Snowshed Pond.
Fishing: Snowshed again also offers fishing rentals on Snowshed Pond.
River Tubing: Interested in other water activities? Try some river tubing with the Vermont River Tubing Company! They’re located a bit north in Stockbridge, VT, which is a roughly 20-minute drive from Killington, but well worth the travel time!
Scenic Gondola Ride: Not afraid of heights and want to witness breathtaking views? The K-1 Express Gondola will take you right up to Killington Peak, which is the second tallest and highest lift-serviced peak in Vermont!
Golf: Killington Resort offers a 6,186-yard, 72-par Championship Golf Course for those interested in the unique mountain terrain that each course rests on! There’s also a practice bunker, as well as a retail pro shop and plenty of food & beverage options.
Long Trail Brewing Co.: Located in a short 15-minute drive to Bridgewater Corners, Long Trail Brewing Co. is home to a rich history and dedication to producing exceptional craft beer! This is a must-visit destination for all the beer lovers.
There’s also plenty of other brewery options in the area as well!
